Pious people who defend themselves who act like they are serving God but have turned their back on God's power. This is a warning about the last days. We so often define those out there who act this way...this defines those of us who think we are serving God. It isn't that people are becoming more evil, it is those of us who think we are God serving that are turning our backs. It is a fair warning.
