This morning I realized that God loves those I dislike as much as He loves me...At times, it would be great if HE was on my side of things...But He isn't... This changes how I proceed. (sigh)

Our humanness wants Him to take sides - I have to remind myself often of that God is the source of fairness, and His view of fairness is vastly different than mine. I guess that is why we are to "love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" (Matt 5:44 KJV). I find that to be a VERY TALL order!! - lew
